

Leveraging Artificial Intelligence in the Mechanical Industry
Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the mechanical industry is catalyzing significant transformations across various domains, including design, manufacturing, and maintenance. This review paper explores the multifaceted roles AI plays in enhancing mechanical systems and processes. From optimizing complex design tasks through generative algorithms to revolutionizing manufacturing with predictive analytics and robotic automation, AI is reshaping traditional methodologies and driving efficiency. In maintenance, AI-powered predictive maintenance systems are minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of machinery. The paper also delves into the challenges and opportunities presented by AI adoption in the mechanical industry, such as data management, algorithmic transparency, and workforce adaptation.
