Impact Assessment of Vapor Absorption Systems in Industrial Applications
Abstract
This research paper investigates the efficiency optimization and environmental impact assessment of vapor absorption systems (VAS) in industrial applications. Vapor absorption systems, known for their eco-friendly cooling and heating solutions, are increasingly being adopted due to their lower energy consumption and reduced greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional vapor compression systems. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of various VAS configurations, focusing on their thermodynamic performance, energy efficiency, and environmental benefits. Advanced simulation models and experimental data are utilized to evaluate the performance of different working fluids and absorbents, highlighting the critical factors influencing system efficiency. Furthermore, a comparative environmental impact assessment is conducted, demonstrating the potential of VAS to significantly reduce carbon footprints in industrial settings. The findings offer valuable insights for the design and implementation of more sustainable and efficient vapor absorption systems
