Experiments on the Method for Choosing the Best Controller Settings

Subham Mehra

Abstract

All of the drawbacks of the most common engineering approaches to setting PID controller settings are taken into account when proposing a new approach. The technique is portrayed by: simplicity and adaptability, which make it possible to choose the best controller settings for a single iteration; improved dynamic properties of systems are provided by highly accurate identification of the control object that takes into account its nonlinearity, does not require an active experiment, and The most common engineering methods for determining the settings of controllers for ACS control objects in the production of nitric acid and the proposed method of finding the optimal controller settings are used to determine the tuning parameters of controllers. Notwithstanding the models given, various control objects with fluctuating levels of wavering and dormancy are researched. The proposed approach is compared to the most common engineering approaches for determining controller settings for ACS control objects in the production of nitric acid. The investigation shows that the regulator boundaries found by the proposed technique essentially work on the unique properties of the framework (the overshoot diminished by multiple times, the guideline time diminished by around 30 %, the static and dynamic blunders diminished by 2-3 times).
