BLOOD COMMUNITY WEB APPLICATION

K. Dhivya, J. Asvica

Abstract

New approaches to blood donation and emergency response are being developed in response to the development of digital technology and the increasing demand for social innovation focused on health. A revolutionary infrastructure that guarantees smooth communication between donors, recipients, and healthcare practitioners is introduced with the Blood Community App. This technology facilitates geolocation-based blood matching, quick access to donor data, and real-time notifications for urgent transfusion needs. Given the serious health concerns associated with blood shortages and postponed medical operations, the app encourages a proactive and team-based approach to blood donation. Users' confidence and transparency are increased by the integration of medical verification, community participation modules, and smart notifications. The application makes use of a safe, scalable architecture designed for critical health situations in order to facilitate effective resource mobilisation and lifesaving coordination.
