Abstract

With a focus on five different institutions chosen as case studies, this study examines how internet service quality and resource utilization are assessed in tertiary institutions. To do this, a thorough questionnaire was created and given to students, faculty, and administrative staff in each of the chosen institutions. The questionnaire's objectives were to collect information about the availability and accessibility of internet services, the quality of these services, and the degree to which digital resources were effectively used for research and education. The responses were then statistically analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Descriptive statistics and percentages were used in the data analysis to pinpoint the main variables affecting resource usage and internet service quality. The results showed that the participating universities' resource use and internet service quality varied significantly. Important drivers of internet service efficacy and resource usage were identified, including institutional policies, user training, and infrastructure investment. For educational institutions looking to improve their internet services and maximize the use of digital resources for the benefit of their academic communities, the report offers insightful analysis and helpful suggestions. All things considered, this study advances knowledge of the function of internet services and resource use in postsecondary education by highlighting areas in need of development and providing helpful suggestions to improve the digital learning environment in these establishments.
