Solar Powered Address System for Rural Vegetable Vendors
Abstract
Rural vegetable vendors often struggle to reach customers due to limited electricity and communication tools. Traditional methods like shouting or using handheld megaphones are inefficient and exhausting. This paper presents a portable, solar-powered public address (PA) system designed to help vendors attract customers more effectively. The system uses a solar panel, rechargeable battery, amplifier, and loudspeaker to operate using renewable energy, making it suitable for off-grid areas. It can broadcast live or pre-recorded messages and provides clear audio for over six hours on a single solar charge. The proposed solution reduces manual effort, lowers energy costs, and supports sustainable practices, offering an efficient and eco-friendly communication tool for rural vendors.
