Abstract

This full-stack web development project aims to empower local artisans across India by creating an interactive online platform that connects them directly with buyers. The central feature of the website is an interactive map of India displaying artisan locations. Users can click on specific regions to view a snapshot of the local art, and further explore individual products on dedicated artisan pages. The platform facilitates direct ordering from artisans, promoting transparency and fair trade. Delivery logistics are managed in collaboration with the Indian postal system, supporting government infrastructure and ensuring wide national reach. The application leverages modern technologies such as React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and mapping APIs to deliver a user-friendly, responsive, and scalable solution. This initiative not only enhances the visibility of traditional crafts but also contributes to the economic upliftment of rural artisans by eliminating intermediaries and encouraging sustainable development.
