Abstract

Organic agriculture is an ecologically based agricultural system that seeks to maximize the use of natural processes and inputs to increase soil fertility, promote biodiversity, and minimize environmental degradation. At its center lies the practice of sound soil management, which has an important function to sustain the health of soils and ensure their productivity in the long term. As opposed to conventional agriculture, which depends intensely on synthetic chemicals, organic agriculture utilizes environmentally friendly techniques like crop rotation, composting, cover crops, and the application of organic amendments. These practices not only add nutrients to the soil but also strengthen its structure, aeration, and water-holding capacity. They also stimulate the activity of positive soil microorganisms, which play a role in nutrient cycling and plant health. By these natural processes, organic farming prevents erosion, minimizes degradation, and maximizes carbon sequestration, providing an alternative model to contemporary agricultural issues.
The following paper discusses organic farming techniques with respect to multiple soil management systems and their utility in developing viable and productive farm systems. Organically farming implies avoiding chemical products and emphasizing land regeneration, sustaining food production within ecological balance. Finally, converting to organic farming methods can reduce crop diseases, enhance soil productivity, and establish long-term health benefits.
