Developing Interference Models for Wireless Communication Networks

This work deals with the processes involved in developing effective interference models for wireless communication networks. Various methodologies are available, and the choice of method is dependent on the questions to be answered or purpose of analysis. Each method has merits and demerits outlined by numerous authors and captured in this work. Interference modelling is predicated on the network under investigation. It is an indispensable tool for network planning, optimization, deployment, implementation and support. This works presents a basic framework for interference modelling for varying interference and network geometries including Regular, Poisson, Poisson Cluster and General motion invariant networks.
