Abstract

Antenna Systems are very crucial for RF applications, requires precise measurement of key parameters like gain, return loss, VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio), impedance of antennas. Tradition methods for measuring the parameter of antenna involve complex, bulky, not easily portable and expensive equipment like VNA (Vector Network Analyzer). This project explores an innovative and user-friendly approach overcomes complex steps involve in VNA using ad8302 phase and gain detector IC to measure important parameters of antenna. This system directly displays these key values makes it easy and accessible for students, colleges and researchers.
