Selenium Based E-Commerce Automation
Abstract
The Selenium Based E-Commerce Automation System is a web-based testing framework designed to improve the efficiency and reliability of software testing by eliminating the need for manual intervention. It enables automated interaction with web applications for functional, regression, and performance testing while minimizing human errors and reducing execution time. The system utilizes Selenium WebDriver to simulate real user actions such as clicking, typing and navigation across multiple browsers and platforms, ensuring accurate and consistent test results. By integrating with testing frameworks and continuous integration tools, it supports repeatable test execution and enhances overall software quality. The framework includes reusable test scripts, robust automation capabilities and detailed reporting mechanisms to identify defects efficiently. Built for scalability and flexibility, it supports cross- browser compatibility and parallel execution, making it suitable for modern dynamic web applications and providing a cost-effective solution for rapid and reliable software validation.
