Determination of Approximate Solutions of Lagerstrom Equation

Abstract

The Lagerstrom’s equation a singular perturbation problem for viscous flow flows over a solid of low Reynolds number has been solved based on homotopy perturbation technique. By this technique the approximate convergent solution of Lagerstrom’s equation can be determined easily. The results obtained by this technique show a good agreement with the results obtained by numerical method.
