Design and Application of Nanostructured Membranes for Water Purification
Abstract
Nanostructured membranes have emerged as a promising solution for efficient and sustainable water purification. This research focuses on the development of advanced nanomaterials such as graphene oxide, carbon nanotubes, and nano-TiO₂ integrated membranes to enhance permeability, selectivity, and anti-fouling performance. Their application in removing heavy metals, pathogens, and organic pollutants is explored, highlighting their role in addressing global water scarcity and quality challenges.
