Real-Time Meeting Notes Generator

Abstract

In today’s digital age, online meetings have become a regular part of both work and study, but one common problem people face is trying to listen, participate, and take proper notes all at the same time. This often leads to missing important discussions, forgetting decisions, or losing track of action items, which affects productivity and teamwork. To overcome this issue, our project introduces a Real-Time Meeting Minutes Generator that automatically handles the note-taking process. The system listens to the live meeting, converts speech into text using speech-to-text technology, and then applies natural language processing to organize the content into well-structured notes that clearly highlight agendas, key points, decisions made, and tasks to be followed up. Users also have the flexibility to edit and refine the notes before saving them, and they can easily export the final version in formats like Word, PDF, or text for sharing or future use. By taking away the stress of manual note-taking, this project allows participants to fully focus on the meeting itself while still having a reliable and accurate record to refer back to. It makes virtual communication smoother, reduces the chances of missing important information, and provides a practical tool that   can   improve   productivity, collaboration, and clarity in any professional or educational setting. And also with virtual communication there is the option of offline recording we have to start the offline meeting recording in the chrome extenstion that will start recording and generate notes.
