Rapid Prototyping and its Application

Abstract

One of the manufacturing technologies that is currently developing at the world's fastest rate is rapid prototyping (RP). Using three-dimensional data from computer aided design (CAD), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a group of methods known as rapid prototyping is used to rapidly produce a scale model of a physical part or assembly. Most of the time, 3D printing technology is used to build the part or assembly. Solid-free, computer-controlled manufacturing, and form fabrication are all terms used to describe rapid prototyping methods. The need of the hour is to bring this fraternity together globally to work together.
