Education and digital literacy gaps between men and women: A Study of Young Girls in Nigeria's northwest

Abstract

Demographic factors (age, socioeconomic status, location), perceptions of school quality, access to information and communication technology (ICT), digital skills, and education levels were the focus of a survey. Females were found to be slightly older, wealthier, to live in particular areas, and to perceive lower school quality than males. Age and financial status likewise associated with area.
