Design of Mall (G+2) Building Using STAAD Pro Software

Abstract


High-rise structures require a lot of time and effort to calculate using traditional manual methods. STAAD-Pro delivers a rapid, efficient, user-friendly, and accurate platform for structural analysis and design. The primary goal of this project is to analyse and create a MALL (G+2) building with STAAD Pro software. The design entails analysing the entire structure using STAAD Pro. The design method employed in STAAD Pro analysis is limit state design, which adheres to the India Standard Code of Practice. We concluded that STAAD Pro serves as a highly powerful tool that can save a lot of time and is extremely precise in design. In this project, a G+2 storey building is analysed, various loads such as wind load, static load, and earthquake load are applied, and the outcomes are studied and contrasted using manual calculations.
