Development of LPG monitoring system

Abstract


Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is used for various purposes, but it is primarily used for household cooking. However, the existing practices for handling these cylinders depend heavily on manual lethal interventions and visual inspections. Such methods are prone to human errors and delays in identifying issues, Leakage detection is a vital aspect of gas cylinder management to prevent hazardous gas leaks and ensure the safety of the surrounding environment. Due to the heavy structure of the Cylinder transportation is difficult. Also, weight detection is necessary for gas level monitoring and indication, after it surpasses its threshold level. So, in this project, the purpose is to provide the design to enhance safety and efficiency in the handling and transportation of gas cylinders. The system includes the trolley which is equipped with sensors that enable critical aspects such as automatically detecting leaks and measuring weight at the time of dispatch.
