THE DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF A 5kVA SINGLE PHASE 230V/230V LABORATORY TRANSFORMER

Abstract


A technique for designing a shell type single phase laboratory transformer is presented in the study. With a single output voltage and the capability to handle 230V, this transformer is ideal for use in electrical isolation. Idea of temperature regulation is based on using natural cooling methods, which do not need tapping.
