A Review of Housing Provision for Disabled People in the United Kingdom with reference to United Arab Emirates & Dubai

Abstract


The paper offers a description and discussion of housing provision for disabled people in the United Kingdon, United Arab Emirates and Dubai. It offers societal and legal definitions of disability. The scale of the problem is explored. New housing concepts and policies are articulated. Similarly, the adaptation of existing houses is examined.
