IOT-DRIVEN SMART HOME AUTOMATION FOR FUTURE

Vaishnavi S, Vishanth V, Syed Muhammed Mehdi S, Athul Suresh S, G. Venifa Mini

Abstract

Smart home automation leverages IoT technology and microcontrollers like ESP8266 to enhance convenience, security, and energy efficiency. Using platforms like Blynk, homeowners can remotely control and monitor appliances, lighting, and locks via a mobile app. Features such as motion-activated lighting, automated schedules, and live video streaming improve security while reducing energy consumption. This system offers real-time monitoring, smart locks, and energy-saving automation, making homes more responsive and cost-efficient. With easy installation and scalability, it provides an affordable solution for modern homes. Future advancements will focus on offline functionality and AI-driven personalization to further enhance usability and security.
