Smart Irrigation System Powered by Solar Water Harvesting

Adarsh Kumar

Abstract

Solar energy is quickly becoming a viable alternative to other sources of electricity. The scarcity of fossil fuels necessitates the development of alternative energy sources. Solar power may be a viable alternative for all of our essential requirements in this economic energy crisis. A savvy sun oriented fueled water system framework is the answer for the Indian ranchers. This system has a water pump that is controlled by the sun and an automatic control system for the water stream that uses a moisture sensor and a solar directing system. A programmed microcontroller is used in the design of the prototype to control the system by allowing communication between the motor drivers and sensors in response to the sun's movement. As a result, less grid power is used, which means less water is lost, which means more water can be saved.
