ACTORS' VIEWS ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE'S EFFECT ON CYBERSECURITY AND SMART CITY GOVERNANCE

Abstract


One of the most important technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) is artificial intelligence (AI), which guards computer network systems against viruses, phishing, cyber attacks, damage, and illegal access. Through e-government, AI has the ability to improve the cyber capabilities and security of local, national, and non-governmental organizations. Existing research shows a mixed relationship between cyber security, e-government, and AI, but this relationship is thought to be context-specific. Different stakeholders with varying levels of knowledge and experience in each area have an impact on and are impacted by AI, e-governance, and cyber security. This study explores the direct connection between AI, e-governance, and cyber security in order to close this context-specific gap. This study also examines the moderating influence of stakeholder participation on the relationship between AI, e-governance, and cyber security, as well as the mediating role of e-governance in this relationship. According to the findings of the PLS-SEM route modeling investigation, e-governance somewhat mediates the relationship between cyber security and AI. Similarly, it was discovered that stakeholder participation had a moderating impact on the connections between e-governance and cyber security as well as between AI and e-governance. Because all stakeholders have an interest in a dynamic, open, and safe cyberspace while utilizing electronic services, stakeholder participation in AI and e-governance is essential. This report offers useful recommendations for enhancing cyber security protocols for government organizations in smart cities
