

An analysis of Creative Designs and Suitable Tactics for Energy-Efficient Zero-Energy Homes to Address the Energy Crisis in South Asian Cities
Abstract
The role of housing as a fundamental urban element is vital but comes with significant energy and environmental challenges. Zero Energy Houses (ZEH), relying on sustainable energy sources, resource recycling, and appropriate technologies, offer a solution to these challenges. This paper explores the potential of ZEHs in Bangladesh's urban environment, addressing climate change impacts such as rising sea levels and increasing temperatures. The development of low-energy housing aims to reduce fossil fuel consumption, offering environmentally and economically sustainable alternatives.
