Abstract

The disorder known as hyperdontia is characterized by extra teeth, or teeth that appear in excess of the normal amount of teeth (32 in an average adult). They might affect any dental organ and examine any part of the dental arch. A more prevalent disorder than hyperdontia is hypodontia, which is the reverse of hyperdontia and is characterized by a lack of teeth from birth.
