Abstract
TaskFlowX is a comprehensive web-based platform designed to streamline task delegation, progress tracking, and performance evaluation within modern software teams. It addresses the growing need for efficient collaboration tools in increasingly complex project environments. Team leads can assign and monitor tasks, while team members regularly log their progress, ensuring up-to-date visibility into ongoing work and promoting accountability.
The system incorporates real-time collaboration via WebSockets, ensuring instant updates across the team whenever task statuses change. It also features an automated task evaluation modulethat assesses completed tasks against predefinedcriteria or test cases, enabling consistent quality control while reducing manual review workload. Transparent analytics and monitoring tools further help organizations evaluate productivity and balance workload distribution effectively.
Built on a modern tech stack, the system utilizes React.js for an interactive and responsive frontend, and Node.js with Express.js for backend logic and API handling. It supports both PostgreSQL databases, offering flexible data management options. Authentication is handled securely through JWT and Supabase Auth, while Socket.io powers its real-time features. Together, these technologies enable seamless collaboration, streamlined workflows, and enhanced team efficiency, making the system a powerful asset in project management.References
