Electronic Health Record (EHR) System Using Blockchain Technolog

Abstract


This project presents a blockchain-based framework to improve Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems using Ethereum, smart contracts, IPFS Pinata, React, Hardhat, and MetaMask. It addresses key issues in centralized healthcare data by offering a secure, scalable, and decentralized solution. Through smart contracts, the system ensures transparency, integrity, and auditable data management. A dynamic, multi-stakeholder access control mechanism allows patients to manage permissions and securely share data while maintaining privacy. This approach highlights blockchain's potential to revolutionize healthcare with a more secure, efficient, and patient-centric alternative to traditional EHR systems.
