

Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment: A Review on Opportunities and Challenges
Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in recruitment has revolutionized traditional hiring processes, offering unparalleled efficiency, enhanced decision-making, and reduced biases. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the opportunities and challenges associated with AI in recruitment, encompassing streamlined candidate sourcing, predictive analytics, and improved candidate experiences. However, we also delve into the challenges that accompany AI adoption, including ethical concerns, algorithmic biases, and data privacy issues. Our goal is to provide a nuanced understanding of AI in recruitment, empowering organizations to make informed decisions about implementing AI solutions. This review paper synthesizes findings from multiple studies to explore the opportunities and challenges of AI-enabled recruitment. The analysis reveals that AI significantly enhances efficiency, reduces recruitment timelines, and improves decision-making accuracy by leveraging data-driven insights. Moreover, AI technologies hold the potential to mitigate human biases, fostering fairness and inclusivity in hiring practices. By examining these opportunities and challenges, this review provides a comprehensive perspective on the transformative role of AI in HRM recruitment processes and offers a roadmap for future research and practical applications.
