Indian Satellite Auto-Tracking Dish Antenna

Deepak Pawar

Abstract

Information about an auto-tracking dish antenna system, specifically for Indian satellites, is presented in this study. In this system, three Indian satellites—NSS6, INSAT 4A, and INSAT 4B—are tracked using a mobile parabolic reflector antenna. It is helpful for receiving satellite broadcast signals in moving cars and ships. A quadra LNB that is coupled to a multiswitch is used to receive encrypted transmissions. The number of outputs for set-top boxes is then split again from the signal they received. Ship motions, partially caused by waves, will cause the antenna in marine communication to point away from the satellite, breaking communication. For efficient communication, we so created this auto tracking dish antenna system. Maintaining communication across long distances is a critical challenge that never goes away. As a result, work has been done to create an auto tracking system. Both moving vehicles and marine ships can benefit from this technique.
