Railway Tracks with Automatic Crack Detection Systems
Abstract
The integration of railway track surveying system is the purpose of this research endeavor. The malfunctioning rail track is automatically detected by our suggested system's broken rail detecting technology. An infrared sensor and an ultrasonic sensor make up the system. We use a GSM modem to communicate with the information we have obtained. The current latitude and longitude information is being sent as an SMS to the relevant authority using the GSM module. After that, this module is mounted atop a human-driven vehicle resembling a go-kart. It is not necessary for the driver to be an expert railroader. This project offers a practical and affordable solution to the issue of detecting railway track cracks, which in turn helps identify the precise position of damaged track that should be rectified right away to save many lives.
