Utilizing RFID Technology, the Design and Implementation of Airside Entry Access for Flight Crew
Abstract
Group individuals from carriers are dealing with issues for getting to airside of air terminals through consistent checks and it is a period taking interaction. Radio Recurrence Distinguishing proof (RFID) is the promising innovation which will lessens the entrance time and further develops security and guarantees security in air terminal and as well as in numerous businesses. In the project we propose, a technological system based on radio frequency identification (RFID) will allow or deny a specific crew member access to the airport's airside. If the aircrew's name is not on the duty roster, the RFID card's information will be checked against the airline roster database when it is near the RFID reader. If it is, the card will display an access or denial message on the visual (monitor) and audible display. The proposed system prevents aviation staff from moving around the airport in an unnecessary manner. Additionally, the proposed system will shorten the time it takes for them to get to the airport for their jobs. If crew members are not on duty and are denied entry, the operational system of the airport administrative department will make it easier to access them. The airport's safety and security are improved, and duty staff have shorter access times to the airfield area. Through theoretical and practical comparison, the proposed system performs admirably.
