Towards Smarter Cooling: An Occupancy-Driven Intelligent Ac Control System
Abstract
The project “Smart Occupancy-Based Air Conditioning Control System for Energy Optimization” presents the design and development of an intelligent cooling system that dynamically adjusts AC operation based on real-time occupancy detection. The system integrates occupancy sensors, IoT connectivity, and automated control mechanisms to monitor the number of occupants and environmental conditions. Powered by a microcontroller, it continuously analyzes data to regulate temperature, fan speed, and operating modes efficiely. The system utilizes adaptive control techniques to reduce energy consumption during low occupancy while maintaining comfort during high occupancy. This intelligent mechanism enhances energy efficiency and minimizes power wastage. Additionally, IoT-based connectivity enables remote monitoring and system optimization. Overall, the project provides a smart, energy-efficient, and sustainable solution for modern indoor environments.
