An Essential Parameters of Trauma Assessment Include Treatment, Complication and Clinical Significance

Abstract


Trauma is the leading cause of death worldwide. In the United States, trauma is the leading cause of death especially in young adults and accounts for ten percent of death in all men and women. This activity covers appropriate organization and the process that should be followed for patients along with traumatic injury, as well as a strategy for improving patient outcomes. It emphasizes the roles of the interprofessional team when evaluating the trauma patient and explains proper trauma assessment as outlined by trauma guidelines.
