Considering the present water management source of Madurai city and water intake from Vaigai dam and present city population. For the evaluation of rainfall analysis, the presence of meteorological factors like rainfall, temperature, humidity, evaporation, sunshine hours tobe determined for the rainfall runoff. From the analysis maximum amount of rainfall are analysed to the exact month and thereby can compute to store the water during monsoon period and to improve the water management to the city.
