Abstract

The most valuable and commonly abused resource is water. In Natham, Tamil Nadu, groundwater is the primary source of both drinking water and other necessities. This essay examines the drinking water quality at several Natham Taluk locations. This effort aims to improve the local groundwater quality to a significant level. To examine different physical and chemical characteristics, a total of 8 groundwater samples were obtained in the Natham area using established methodologies and procedures. The outcomes were compared to WHO and Indian norms. This investigation showed that the area's water is highly contaminated, and sanitation must be done immediately. Alkalinity, total dissolved solids, chloride, and dissolved oxygen have all been measured astrometrically. In addition, measurements of conductivity and pH have been made. Total dissolved solids as determined by gravimetry. The outcomes were contrasted with the requirements for drinking water established by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This chapter discusses historical data, water quality, and public safety related to the sustainable public water delivery system in Natham Block. The characteristic studies of drinking water from different villages are studied in this experiment.
