Efficiency in CNC Machining through Adaptive Control

A. D. Awasare

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive review of adaptive control techniques in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining processes. The escalating demand for high precision and efficiency in manufacturing industries has necessitated the integration of adaptive control strategies to mitigate uncertainties and disturbances inherent in machining operations. The abstract provides an overview of various adaptive control methodologies, including model predictive control, fuzzy logic control, and neural network-based control, highlighting their applications, advantages, and limitations in CNC machining. Additionally, key challenges and future research directions are identified to facilitate advancements in adaptive control for enhanced CNC machining performance.
