Innovative approach to attendance tracking: Face recognition System

Abstract


This paper discusses managing biometric attendance. The manual technique of managing attendance, which requires a lot of time and is challenging to maintain, will be replaced by automatic attendance management. Although there are several biometric procedures, face recognition is the most effective one. We are employing the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) technique, which is based on Deep Learning (DL). We are taking into account the data set of human faces that were trained using CNN. For the user interface webpage, the Flask framework was used, and the entire procedure was carried out in the public cloud (AWS).
