

IMPACT OF E-MENTORING ON CAREER PLANNING AMONG UG STUDENTS
Abstract
A digitally-driven development of traditional mentoring, e-mentoring has grown to be a crucial component of career planning, particularly for postgraduate (UG) students. This study examines the benefits and drawbacks of e-mentoring, particularly in relation to its implementation, can be evaluated in several ways career planning process. E-mentoring bridges the time and location divide between mentors and mentees by offering flexible, easily accessible, and customized instruction via digital platforms. According to the research, important benefits of e-mentoring include improved skills, networking possibilities, and well-informed decision- making. Mentees develop professional relationships, hone their career goals, and learn industry trends through frequent virtual encounters. Additionally, by providing a consistent avenue for encouragement and feedback, e-mentoring promotes emotional resilience. The study does, however, also address several difficulties, such as possible communication obstacles, a lack of in- person engagement, and participants' differing degrees of technical literacy. Active mentor-mentee engagement and the thoughtful integration of user-friendly solutions are necessary to address these issues. According to research, postgraduate students who actively engage in e- mentoring programs have more defined professional objectives and are better prepared to handle competitive employment marketplaces. The study's conclusion highlights the value of structured programs and institutional support in maximizing the positive effects of e-mentoring on career achievement.
