Noise Level Measurement and Analysis in Mechanical Applications

A. Awasare

Abstract

Noise pollution in mechanical applications is a critical concern affecting both equipment performance and occupational health. This study investigates noise levels in various mechanical systems, identifying key sources and analyzing their impact using advanced measurement techniques. A combination of experimental and computational methods, including sound level meters and simulation tools, is employed to assess noise emissions. The study further explores noise mitigation strategies, such as material damping, isolation techniques, and design modifications. The findings provide insights into effective noise control measures, contributing to improved machine efficiency and a safer working environment.
