Abstract

Epithelial neoplasms of the ovary report for 60 percent of all ovarian tumors and 40 percent of benign tumors. They fall into one of three categories: benign, borderline, or malignant. A good prognosis is associated with ovarian cystadenomas, which are frequent benign epithelial neoplasms. This exercise highlights the biology and causation of ovarian cystadenoma as well as the interprofessional team's involvement in managing the condition.
