An Essential Parameters of Neonatal Hyperglycemia Include Objectives, Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, Differential Diagnosis and Treatment

Abstract

Hyperglycemia is less common  compare to  hypoglycemia among neonates, but it is responsible  to address it because it enhances mortality and morbidity among neonates. It needs to be identified and treated quickly to prevent the high morbidity and mortality associated with neonatal hyperglycemia. This exercise describes how to assess and treat neonatal hyperglycemia and emphasizes the importance of the interprofessional team in assessing and treating patients with this condition.
