Treatment of Recycling Plant Effluents Gases and Liquids: Technologies, Challenges and Environmental Management
Abstract
Recycling plants play a crucial role in waste management and resource recovery; however, they generate significant quantities of gaseous and liquid effluents that can pose environmental and health risks. Effective treatment of these effluents is essential to ensure sustainable operations and regulatory compliance. This paper presents a comprehensive review of treatment technologies for gaseous emissions and liquid effluents generated in recycling plants. A detailed literature review highlights recent advancements in emission control systems, wastewater treatment technologies, and integrated environmental management approaches. The study emphasizes the need for advanced treatment systems and stricter regulations to minimize environmental impact.
