							Performance Optimization of Abrasive Water Jet Machining on EN8 Steel Using Taguchi Analysis
Abstract
This study focuses on optimizing Abrasive Water Jet Machining (AWJM) parameters for EN8 steel using the Taguchi method. The impact of jet pressure, abrasive flow rate, and cutting speed on Material Removal Rate (MRR) and Surface Roughness (Ra) is analyzed using an L9 orthogonal array. An experiment is done by cutting EN8 material of 15mm thickness into 20*20 mm block. The research identifies optimal parameters to maximize MRR and minimize Ra, with detailed analysis using SN ratios.Cite as:
