Review on Aqua Clean Robotic Boat
Abstract
Water pollution caused by floating plastic waste, bottles, bags, leaves, and other debris is a major environmental concern in lakes, rivers, ponds, and other water bodies. Manual collection of floating waste requires considerable time, human effort, and may be difficult in some areas. This paper presents an Aqua Clean Robotic Boat for Water Surface Waste Collection, designed as a low-cost and portable solution for collecting floating waste from water surfaces. The proposed system uses an Arduino UNO as the central controller, an HC-05 Bluetooth module for communication with an Android mobile application, and an L298N motor driver to control two DC geared motors connected to propellers. Based on the commands received from the mobile application, the boat can move in forward, backward, left, and right directions. A garbage collection net fixed at the front of the boat collects floating waste, which is stored in an onboard basket. The proposed system provides an economical and eco-friendly approach for reducing manual cleaning effort and improving the cleanliness of small water bodies.
