Impect of Stem Cell Therapy

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study about stem cell engineering or therapy. It discusses the reasons due to which the need for transplantation arises. It also highlights the importance of stem cells and why they are more useful than the normal organ transplantations.  It describes what stem cells are and what its types in detail are. It outlines the step-by-step procedure taken in consideration while conducting stem cell therapy. Starting from, the right selection of donor by performing various blood tests and other evaluation tests to extraction of stem cells from bone marrow and adipose tissue by different types of method to complete the transplantation process by doing implantation using the method best suited according to patient’s ailment and physical condition. It explores the post operative care also.
