A Survey on Services, Tech Stack and Infra Tech of Popular Mobile Applications
Abstract
Urban service platforms offer a combination of strong infrastructure, user-friendly interfaces and secure pay- ment options to provide a wide range of services, such as cleaning, short-term rentals, etc. These platforms have complex algorithms in the tech stack to match services and improve user experience. On the other hand, navigation apps like MapmyIndia, Strava, etc. provide crucial resources for location based services and fitness tracking through the use of real-time mapping data and GPS tracking. The technological stack of these apps includes algorithms for routing and personalized fitness tracking while their infrastructure stack includes cloud-based servers, mapping databases, etc. In this study, we compare the product, infrastructure and technological stack of urban service platforms. Companies that understand their technological stack and infras- tructure will be able to identify areas of innovation and growth. This will help them to better compete in the market and meet the changing needs of the urban population.
