Abstract

Communication barriers between differently-abled individuals and normal people remain a major challenge in today’s society. Deaf and dumb individuals rely on sign language, while blind individuals face difficulties in writing examinations due to dependency on human writers. This paper proposes SignBridge, an intelligent mobile application designed to bridge these gaps using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision, and Speech Processing techniques. The system supports Sign-to-Text, Text/Voice-to-Sign, and a Voice-to-Text Examination Module for blind students. The application is multilingual, language-independent, and provides separate access for students and faculty. SignBridge aims to ensure inclusivity, independence, and equal academic opportunities for all.
