AI-DRIVEN RETAIL BILLING AND INVENTORY AUTOMATION
Abstract
In today’s rapidly evolving digital commerce environment, smart retail automation systems are becoming increasingly essential for efficient business operations. Traditional retail billing systems are often expensive, difficult to maintain, and lack intelligent automation capabilities. SmartRetail+ is an AI-driven, serverless retail management platform developed to simplify retail billing, inventory synchronization, product discovery, and digital payment handling using modern cloud technologies.
The system is built as a lightweight web-based application hosted on Firebase Hosting and powered by Firebase Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and integrated payment gateways. SmartRetail+ provides a customer-facing shopping interface and a secure administrator dashboard. The customer interface enables users to browse products, scan QR/barcodes, manage carts, and perform digital payments through Razorpay and UPI systems. The administrative dashboard allows real-time inventory tracking, payment verification, product management, and AI-assisted analytics.
