Experimental Investigation Kevlar composite for Marine application- A Review

Abstract

The composite materials are more beneficial when compared to the conventional materials of (iron, steel etc.) because of their light weight, good fatigue performance and increased life of the materials. All industries are concentrating on new materials, which will be strong enough, less weight, recyclable, reduced cost, non-abrasive, ecofriendly and bio degradable for them the best alternative is the composite material.  It is highly used in the area of automobile body parts, heat resistant clothes, bullet-proofing, marine application and civil structures etc. In this paper we are investigated Kevlar synthetic fiber with other reinforcement and this composite material are used for light weight and Marine applications.
