Stress Analysis in Spot Weld Section in Top Hat and Flat Plate Subjected to Shear Stress

Abstract


In this project, we will use ANSYS 11.0 software to analyze the shear stress resulting from spot welding of the top and flat cover plate when the body is exposed to static electricity and ProE software for modeling. This product consists of only two parts: the top cover and the flat plate, which are welded together. Material 187 elements were used for the FE model. The analysis here is F.E.M.
